Criee Libre Aux Poissons, literally shout freedom at fish, is the slogan etched in stone above the National Theatre of Marseille. No doubt it means something in French but in English it produces an idea for a new Monty Python sketch. Marseille has loads of theatres, cinemas and an opera house. The Irish bar has even reached the town. This one was decorated by flags of Celtic nations. |
