Dear Mr Brind

I understand you are doing a one name study for the name BRIND.

I am researching the Brind family on behalf of my husband whose mother was a Brind.

Our branch of the family at present live in Gloucester but were previously in Fairford, Gloucestershire. I have traced them back to a Henry Brind born in Highworth, Wilts, and shown as baptised on 24 March 1823. He later married a Mary Ann Newman on 30th Oct 1843.

On the IGI his parents are shown as Thomas Brind and Ann but I have not been able to find them on the local parish records.

Have you a record of this Thomas Brind who has most likely born about 1795-1798?

I do so hope you can assist me as I seem to have come to a complete halt.

I am naturally enclosing a stamped addressed envelope for your reply.

Yours sincerely,
Janice Hart
