Dear Jonathan Brind, I am writing on behalf of a friend who is very interested in his family tree, but currently is not able to devote time to undertaking the necessary research. He is due to retire in the near future and to try and get him started on his family tree, I am writing to you on his behalf. As a gesture, some of my research and from what we have obtained from him through conversation, and hopefully anything you can add will go toward the so called Little Red Book as Eamon Andrews used to have in his tv programme This is Your Life.

Details that my wife and I have so far are as follows:
Paul Martyn Brind born 27 Aug 1946, Woking, Surrey, married to Sue
children of this union Tim and Rebekah Brind.
Paul's parents given as Reginald Charles Brind and Olive Rose Brind formerly Pingree. They married at Forest Gate, East London, sometime circa 1939.
It is thought Reginald Charles had brothers Les and Edward Brind.

Anything further that you can add would be much appreciated, even direction would suffice.

I myself am a GOON and have been so for several years. That's how I came to locate your surname interests.
