I'm looking for any info about Percival Brind, ex met police, retired station sergeant in Enfield, died Halstead 1944. He's my g grandfather. My brinds hail from hillingdon in the mid 19th century. My ggg grandfather Richard Brind was in the 49th regiment and fought in the Crimean War. My grandfather William Reginald Brind was in the RAF in WW2 and moved to Headington Oxford.

It seems likely that Amy falsified her age on this certificate, possibly to make her own age look closer to her husband's age. The couple seem to have got married shortly after her 21st birthday, which may suggest that her mother disapproved, on the assumption that they waited until they no longer needed parental permission.
