In the Name of God Amen
I Richard Brind of Woolwich in the County of Kent Shipwright being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say ffirst I desire to be decently buried with my daughter Alsounge????? I give and bequeath to my son John Brind ten pounds eight day clock dressing table and case two decanters two rummers two wine glasses two small japan waiters cedar tables and joint stool I also give to my son Richard Brind ten pounds book case and drawers six chairs square cooking glass watch and two coals? Pembroke table round pillow and kard table copper and tea kettle coffee pot saucepan one small fender six cups and saucers Blue and white milk jug tea pot breakfast tray clothes that that was my fathers my ?clothes to be divided equely between my two sons John and Richard my shirts and hankerchiefs between my son Richard And my son in law Collings I also give to my daughter Maria Carpenter best bed stead and furniture bed bolster pillow and case two blankets two sheets I also give to my daughter Mary Ann Collings fifteen pounds |

I also give to my brother William Brind one pair of Specktacles with my name on the china image and the pictures on each side I also give to my son John Brinds three grand children one pound I also give to my daughter Mary Ann Collings sole Executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all and every other will or wills at any time heretofore by me made and do declare this to be my last will and testament by me made In witness whereof the said Richard Brind have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of March in the year of our Lord 1840 --- Ric Brind (LS)-- signed sealed declared and published by the above name Richard Brind as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his re- quest in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto-- Geoe Burgess--Wm Binks Wm Hale |
