By coincidence there is this entry in the birth index
Could it be connected?
John Willie C
b. 1902/3 Ecclesall B
In 1942 a Frederick Brind married a in Sheffield = Ms Jackson

I was also contacted by a John Brind of Sheffield whose grandfather Harry Brind (c.1890s d. c 1964/65) played for Sheffield United FC and possibly Doncaster. Unfotunately he didn't know much about his grandfather's family so wasn't aware of any connection to Henry Albert, Jane, Mary Harriet etc. He did say he would look at his old photo album to see if there were any clues there.
